As the Northshore School District gears up for a gradual transition to in-person classes, I stepped in and helped my mom and a few of her fellow high school teacher friends prepare their classroom for the return of students. This past year has been especially difficult for teachers, as their entire career was turned upside down. I am glad that I was able to make such a small impact in helping them unpack their classrooms and make the space as Covid friendly and safe as possible. My next visit back to Bothell, I will be retuning to help support teachers once again.
I was able to donate blood, which I find rewarding to be able to do and help others.
Fake news was an interesting topic because I have studied it a lot in both com105 poly science 101. I hadn’t really thought about it “destroying democracy” but learning about it in out currently political climate gave me new insight
