LAMI Alliance House is located in Moscow, ID and serves individuals who need residential support. Alliance House provides residence for up to six adults with severe and persistent mental illness who have had difficulty with living independently in the past. Residents agree to pay eighty percent (80%) of the total monthly income to cover the expenses of the house. Alliance House provides the residents with a food stipend for Winco Foods monthly to assist with food costs.
In addition to each resident's monthly rent, LAMI receive it's support from charitable organizations, government entities and receives donations from private individuals. There are also several fundraising events in the community that the board members regularly participate. When in need of additional services or supplies for maintaining the house, we are fortunate to receive the communities support through items purchased at a reduced cost and donations of items.
LAMI Alliance House is located in Moscow, ID and serves individuals who reside in Latah County. Alliance House provides residence to up to six adults with severe and persistent mental illness who have had difficulty with living independently in the past. There is a part time House Director who is available to support the residents approximately 20 hours per week and is a support for emergency situations. The House Director is responsible for safety and well being of the residents, maintaining all resident files, crisis intervention, ensuring a safe and healthy living environment, and providing ongoing communication to the Board of Directors regarding the needs of the resident and/or home maintenance.
LAMI also supports and collaborates with the Moscow chapter of Wellness Recovery Action Planning support program. The WRAP program provides local adults within our community with severe and persistent mental illness with weekly peer-led support and education meetings. Additionally, the family support group meetings occur every month on the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at the Latah Recovery Center.
