University of Idaho Students
The Center for Volunteerism & Social Action (CVSA) consists of 9 dedicated students and 1 Program Coordinator who work to connect students with local, regional, national and international communities. We do so through services and programs such as Alternative Service Breaks (ASB), the Vandal Food Pantry, Days of Service and various Social Action Programs.
The CVSA fosters lifelong commitments to service and civic action by engaging students and communities in transformational experiences that educate and develop leaders capable of challenging injustices and creating positive and equitable change.
We work with over 80 community agencies who are always seeking volunteers. You can browse through Subgroups (below), Agencies (below), or the "Get Involved" tab on the top right-hand of the screen. Tip: To find a particular type of opportunity, use the "Get Involved" feature by searching interests (ex. veteran, healthcare, animals, etc).
The CVSA has 3 signature programs here on campus for students to volunteer with. Please refer to the program's GivePulse page for more information, as the application process is different for each program.
