About
The #RoxForGood Campaign seeks to inspire kids to climb beyond their dreams while encouraging families to opt outside. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a spotlight to the social-emotional needs of youth. The #RoxForGood campaign seeks to uplift our youth through positive messaging and encouraging outdoor play. Memphis Rox will place 400+ rocks around Overton Park. Painted rocks will include an inspirational message and the hashtag, #RoxForGood. Once found, community members are asked to share on their social using the hashtag, #RoxForGood. Community Members are asked to then relocate the painted rock to a place of their choosing inside that same park. All craft & art supplies will be provided by Memphis Rox, but donations are always welcomed (splicing scissors, hot glue, paint, etc). For immediate volunteer supplies donation needs, please contact MRVolunteer@OneFamily.org. If you love crafting, this is a perfect opportunity for you to get involved and meet your local Memphis neighbors
THIS EVENT WILL BE HOSTED INDOORS/OUTDOORS ON THE MEMPHIS ROX CAMPUS TO ACCOMMODATE SOCIAL DISTANCING REGULATIONS. FACE MASK WILL BE REQUIRED. TABLES, CHAIRS & BOTTLED WATER WILL BE PROVIDED! |
